value/price ratio, location, accessability and general hotel quality are excellent. Mexican restaurant downstairs is fantastid ;) Have stayed here a few times and the effeciency, friendliness and competance of the reception staff varies depending on who it is from pleasant to acceptable to downright rude. One receptionist let me stand at the counter for almost 5 minutes (!) ignoring me while she made a personal call and messed around with the computer before she would even acknowledge my presence!! Inexcuseable! |

I liked the room very much. Large. Fairly basic but well-appointed. Nicely maintained bathroom. Right above Powell Street (7th floor), but the noise was manageable. A little troubled by the street-level entry, with the Tex-Mex eatery in the back (I didn't eat there). Somewhat confusing, and not sure the layout works in the hotel's behalf. |

location, shower greeting receptionist was very unfriendly. We also had personally stopped in hotel and reserved room 715 (quiet and in back) as it was our anniversary, Althogh I had information about this, it was not honored and we were givern anoiser room in the front. Very unhappy about this! |

The hotel is just in downtown area, very convinient for shopping in SF. Macy, Powell station, union square are just near by. The room I lived (single queen size bed) was clean and comfortatle. |

Location was great. For an economy hotel, the decor was cute. Room was large The bed wasn't that comfortable and the industrial carpet has to go. |

The colors used in the hotel (paintings, sheets etc), the location is perfect (close to public transport and plenty of nice shops) No airco in the room, so a bit hot on some days |

The air con is absolutely needed - in rooms the temperature was too high, and when windows open it was impossible to sleep because of street noise. It there were the air con there wouldn't be need to open the window. |

Very central location at reasonable prices. Diner, a couple of doors away, great for breakfast. Staff helpful. Original room very noisy but staff arranged to change to a quieter room as soon as it was cleaned. They even transferred our luggage whilst we went off for the day. So what could have been negative turned into a positive thing by the prompt action of the staff. |
