The location was close to Amsterdam Centraal Train station which was a bonus for us because that was our mode of transportation. There were also trams running, and a great deal of pedestrian traffic because of the abundance of eating establishments and shops. We were also impressed by the large variety at breakfast which was included in our room rate; the staff were accomodating and very efficient

We just have one comment about our room in particular, that being the carpets were in dire need or shampooing or replacing.

We stayed in the new part of the hotel and were upgraded to a suite probably because we were staying a week. The room and service was excellent the staff were very helpful weather was also a huge factor as it was lovely The Breakfast in the morning was Brill and kept us going for the day.

Excellent location next to station. King sized bed. Rare to find hotel in Amsterdam with pool. We were also able to use the sauna and steam room for free. Reasonable price for 4 star hotel, but see below

We arrived at 9am but room not available until 2pm. We specified a non smoking room and were not allocated this, but we were able to change rooms. The furniture in our room was shabby and chipped. There were also some stains on the walls. The decor of the bedroom appeared not to have been touched since the 1970s. Not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel.
