Area information

The NH Carlton is located in the heart of Amsterdam on the colorful flower market and in the direct vicinity of the famous shopping streets and museums. You can enjoy the various shops that sell jewelry, clothing, books, antiques and more with their beautiful architecture while going out for a stroll.
It only takes 5 minutes to get to the central station (Centraal Station) and you can reach Schiphol Airport in 25 minutes. Amsterdam and its surroundings are known for the diversity in museums, art, entertainment and events, which you can combine very easily with a business trip. room not 4star more like 2star. plastic cups+spoons for tea and coffee, cracked sink in toilet,frayed carpets in hallway, fixtures in bathroom on with blutac or something similar. which did not remain fixed to the wall...

Location and pleasant desk service.

A small flooding problem in the bathroom as well as a loose shelf near the vanity that broke while holding just a tshirt. The broken shelf appeared on my bill upon checking out but was removed after a short discussion.

All ,except one interaption by the cleaner and one of the Hotel

All the staff were really polite and helpful. The location is great as it's on a busy street and it's quieter than you'd expect. Overall just a great hotel.

Location. Easy access to transportation. Breakfast including the decor of the setting. Pretty restaurant. Helpful employees at the desk.

We had upgraded one level and I hoped our room would be roomier. Our air conditioning was not functioning properly. The staff was very prompt in trying to fix the problem but our room was not as cool as friends next door despite having it on at a high level. A light was burned out. Again the response to fix it was speedy, but perhaps things like that should be reported by maids beforehand.
