Area information

The citizenM Hotel Amsterdam Airport is situated within a one-minute walking distance from the arrivals and departures terminal at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (200 metres).

A covered walkway is provided for guests to walk to and from the hotel. Buses, taxis and trains are also within walking distance (200 metres) and provide a 24-hour connection to the city centre of Amsterdam (20 minutes by train) and all other major cities in The Netherlands. Parking and rental cars are within walking distance as well (200 metres).

The room was superb. It's not for everyone, but I found it very practicle for an overnight stay. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

It was fun, the atmosphere was superb, rolling out of the king-size bed to the illuminated shower early in the morning and be near the check-in was fantastic! Highly recommendable!!

It took us hours to find out how to dim all the lights. Also, first I put a towel over the little machine that controls everything to stop the glare, only to find out much later it could be taken from the wall.

close to the airport - easy walking + lots of luggage trolleys available

Room is small. Little or no room to work in the room - have to sit in the lobby.

I loved the bed size which are huge also if one has a single room.

It would be good to have a manual in the room. I found it difficult to
know how to use all the gadgets and spent a lot of time with trial and
error (operating of the tv etc.).

In fact the whole design of hotel is some thing new that I experienced ,
I am travelling worlwide frequently , but this hotel was the 1st
experience of such a compact and wonderfull design . I appreciate it .
Unfortunately hotel doesn't have some feature like swimming pool and Gym
.Also I sugget to arrange a restaurant for the hotel.Then guests could
have buffert breakfast in an specific chage.

Convenient close to the Airport at an acceptable rate (walking
distance).

Selfregistration does not facilitate to process two rooms booked
against a single name. The time it took to get a cup of coffee. I
assume this was considered acceptable understanding that the hotel
started operation recently.

Pretty much everything, cool design, cool appliances, great bed
and blanket.

Screens around shower and toilet could be a bit less see-through.

Fun, clean, modern, convenient, well priced.

For the price--- NO. I do enjoy fitness centers, restaurants, etc. But, this was a high class hotel without those things and the price savings was worth it.

The changeable colours of the room-lighting were great. There was an
overall fun atmosphere about the place and I loved the gadgetyness of
the room - would rather have played with those than go to sleep;)

The shower was a bit scary - once inside the cubicle and the shower is
turned on, there is no where to escape to if the water comes on too cold
or too hot!

Very convient to Schiphol and affordable.

The high tech features were a little hard to learn good thing we had our fourteen year old son along who figured out all the controls.

Short walk from Airport (an honest 5 min) Remote control for everything.
Funky in a very moderisting way.

Be warned, the rooms are small but kind of fun for a single nights stay.

Public areas with places to meet and relax

Check-in we had two rooms booked and arrived separately. Could not use one creditcard which was a problem for us. I now need to claim the cost from UAE which is very inconvenient. Although the bed was very comfortable, with the shower and toilet in the bedroom it was like sleeping in a bathroom!!! Very Funky!!! Breakfast offered a poor choice, no cereals, no bread!!! very poor.
