This 4-star luxury hotel has a superb location in the heart of central London, just 2 minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road Tube station and 5 minutes from Covent Garden.

The magnificent location means that all that London has to offer is within easy reach, with the great shops of Covent Garden, Oxford Street and Bond Street right on the doorstep including the new Abercrombie & Fitch store on Savile Row. For those visiting London on business, the city’s financial district is just minutes away and London’s Theatreland and all of the city’s finest theatres are also within easy walking distance.

The hotel’s impressive original structure was designed by the famous architect, Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens. The building has been sensitively restored and the interiors have been fully refurbished. The hotel offers 170 air conditioned en suite rooms, all of which are furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with complimentary high-speed internet access, multichannel TVs and minibars.

The location was fantastic

Room was not as booked but after speaking to the staff they moved us to the room we paid for with no fuss and gave 30% discount i the restaurant for trouble

Interesting architecture & original fittings, a little tired in places but a lovely place to stay nevertheless. Good location.

Bar & restaurant expensive. Worryingly, on the evidence of the new restaurant, it looks like the current refurbishment might turn this place into another boring clone hotel.

The hotel was a short walk from Theatreland - perfect for our weekend stay.

Breakfast was not included in the price. Understandable for the Fri' night where the cost was reasonable . However, the Sat' evening cost £170 for room only..... not impressed!

Bathroom was shabby - peeling paint, etc.; major issues over inclusion of breakfast in room rate (first two mornings were fine, problems third morning raised with staff and promised to be addressed, but exactly same problem experienced day 4, day 5 at last all ok
