Location was perfect ,it made using public transport when needed easy as the stops where on the doorstep and the train station around the corner, meant you didn't spend any time when arriving and departing waiting around for taxis and wasting holiday time (when we where only there for 2 days just a 5min walk to and from hotel is great!!)

our room was very warm at night which made it difficult to sleep ,even with the window slightly open ( in November!!). Reported to reception who gave a fair explanation , but it would have been better if the room had air conditioning available.

The views from our window were spectacular, the castle lit up at night, Princes St Gardens, the big wheel and helter skelter in November it was lovely!

The bar was a bit pricey. Breakfast was okay, but a cooked veggie breakfast would have been good as I am vegetarian, potato scones, veggie sausages etc - as an option

I liked that it was very central. I also liked the lounge area with the windows overlooking Princes Street. It was very relaxing. The breakfasts also were very good.

Thought the room was a bit musty. There was a strong smell of smoke as we walked along the corridor to our room although our floor wasn't a smoking floor

The location of the hotel on Princes Street is ideal, A five minute walk from Waverly station and perfectly located to get about.

We were disapointed about the choice on the menu for dinner but the meal we chose was very nice. The food generally was ok but if staying a weekend beware it gets very busy at breakfast time and you can finish up waiting about for food.

The location was excellent

The room was extremely small and too hot also we had no view and wer placed at the back of the hotel right beside noisy fans so we did not sleep well at all.I was very disappointed as this was our anniversary
