The Grosvenor Kensington Hotel London is an elegant hotel ideally located in Central London in the district of South Kensington just bordering Knightsbridge and to the south-east of Hyde Park. Originally a Victorian mansion house, this superior class hotel offers easy access to many local attractions such as the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Buckingham Palace and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Transportation is very convenient as it's just 2 minutes' walk from South Ken underground station, and less than 5 minutes' walk to Imperial College, where my destination is

The staff were very friendly

The decor in the room was poor and the handles on the wardrobe kept falling off every time you pulled them to open wardrobe. Alsopaintwork bad and cracked tiles in bathroom

The location was excellent for restaurants etc tube/train liknks. The breakfast was very good. The room was quite dark/dimly lit.

I did ckeck and chose the hotel as I was informed that an ncp was near by. We arrived at 5.30pm and was told it was closing at 6pm. The nearest 24 hr ncp was very expensive and at least a 25 minute walk away.
