a real nice person on reception , he knew his job and was very helpful, I believe his name is Mindaugas.

no shampoo in room , I had booked in guests and told them not to bring shampoo as even the smallest, dingyist hotels provide shampoo. I was booking my airline flight on-line when one of the hotel staff requested that I move away from the computer while he attended to the adjoing computer as a result I lost my opportunity to check in on-line.

yes rooms are small, yes bathrooms are small, but this is a cheaper London hotel.However- it was wonderful to come back to a very clean room after long day in the city and to rest your head on a freshly pressed pillowcase! Bed very comfortable. Foyer lovely and the area safe, very picturesque and super close to Paddington Station

Beware if you are a big guy or very tall - standard room could be a tight squeeze.

The heating worked a few hours a day only and the temperature was so low, that it was impossible even to dry the towels.

The location of the hotel is great. Easy to find and access other places. The rooms were very clean which is important to me and serviced well every day. I enjoyed staying at the hotel and would recommend it to other people.

The staff at the front desk could have been more friendly and easier to approach. Also the fire alarm went off frequently which was a little annoying especially at night.

The location.

The room and the breakfast! The door of the rooms with the large airspace and the breakfast were unambiguously my worst experience with hotels.

The hotel was dated in furnishings but it was clean and comfortable which are the main things. It was easy to find and excellently located, a 2 minute walk from Paddington station.

The lift is incredibly slow. No hairdryer in the room although website stated there was.

The very quirky rooms, with a real retro feel. The public areas are very lavishy decorated with a fountain in the lounge area. The huge fish tank in the breakfast room was very soothing.

The breakfast, cheap apple juice drink and some awful pink juice drink that was tasteless, awful cheap coffee, flabby white toast. My partner had the English for an extra £3 which was ok, if a bit cold.
