Renovated in 2006, this hotel is in the 8th district of Paris, between the elegant Opéra Garnier, the luxurious department stores and the splendid Sacré Cœur.

New Hotel Saint Lazare is close to Place de Clichy, Saint Lazare train station and Liege Metro station (line 13). The hotel is set within the heart of the entertainment district and not far from the Casino de Paris, the Mogador theatre, Montmartre and a selection of restaurants.

The rooms are bright and quiet, and they welcome you in comfortable settings. Some rooms face the central patio. The lobby and the reception, renovated in May 2008, open on a quiet, relaxing garden with chairs and tables. Attentive staff will try their best to help you make the most of your stay.

We mentioned not to charge our card when booking, and we asked to be charged on arrival but we already had been charged.

The hotel was in the middle of the city, next tot the metro. The lobby was looking very good.

Information at the reception about the city good be better.

The reception desk staff was quite business like; he didn't even show me where the elevetor was before I asked. Also the elevator was quite small and I had hard time drawing my big suitcase up to my room. The bathroom was also too small.

False advertising about many features, room in state of disrepair, questionable area for safety, ongoing construction, very noisy location. We were forced to leave windows open because non-functioning A-C in all rooms. Very busy noisy area prevented any sleep during two night stay. Worst hotel of a 21 day tour of France.

Quiet room at back of hotel.

Poor reception area ( being renovated ) and only one receptioninst to check in and out eveyone, book taxis etc. No chance for late check out except to pay full one day room rate.
